Two of the leading timber Industry software specialists to join forces.

Jon and Geena Edwards creators of TIMPACK, one of the most well known and long standing timber Industry software packages, today announced that they have entered into an exciting business arrangement with TimberSmart effectively creating the largest timber industry specific software provider in Australia and New Zealand.

Jon Edwards explains;

Our business started in Melbourne over 25 years ago, growing quickly through the eighties, we were selling hardware and installing Timpack throughout Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and exploring possibilities in the USA and other regions.

The nineties saw a change in our business when, as a family, we relocated to Queensland, utilizing third party support companies whilst concentrating on major redevelopment from the then text based system to the current fully compliant windows version with all the new features of email /e commerce  and live reporting.

Timpack‘s  longevity and strength has been in our ability to understand and interpret customer’s requirements effectively and efficiently as a result producing the stable and state of the art package it is today.

We are now looking towards the future for Timpack in joining with TimberSmart whose company values and long term  commitment to  their customers fits perfectly with our  own business philosophy. We are extremely pleased to announce this  agreement with TimberSmart ensuring TIMPACK ‘s future for another successful  25 years.

We will have a combined customer base of over 140 customers in Australia and New Zealand.
