Welcome to the TimberSmart web site

We hope that it will provide some insights into what we do and how we can assist you by improving your business, through utilizing modern computer software and project management methods.

TimberSmart's mission is to add value to our customers by leveraging our know-how in information systems developed specifically for the timber and timber processing industry.

The principal focus of TimberSmart is enabling more effective and more profitable timber enterprise management through the availability of accurate and timely information.

March 2006:

TimberSmart installed at Auswest Orbost, formally Brodribb Sawmills.

August 2005:

Neville Smith Timbers at Heyfield and Launceston order the hand held stocktake module for these sites.

June 2005:

TimberSmart and Progressive Solutions, a Canadian based company who is the dominate player in the northern hemisphere for timber products software, join together in the distribution of Lumber Track and bisTrack into Australia and New Zealand.

May 2005:

Pinetec Limited installs TimberSmart software at their Perth operation. Once the new mill at Collie comes online, TimberSmart will be connected to the new sorter/stacker for automatic entry and labelling of packs.

Handheld stocktake is now available.

Use hand held technology to collect your pack details and then load this information back into your stocktake. We utilize Pocket PC handheld devices and blue tooth bar-code scanners to provide a truly wireless solution for scanning packs up to 5 metres high.
